Nena completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of Waterloo in 2018, in addition to a Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western University in London, ON in 2021. In 2015 Lubeina enrolled at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (AIM) Academy in Toronto, Ontario in the Acupuncture Therapy Program, and developed her skills as a confident TCM practitioner under the current guidelines proposed by The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
